Athletics

Springfield Lutheran High School is a registered affiliate with the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) and the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP).

Athletics at SLHS help students grow in character, discipline, and perseverance while representing their school with integrity and sportsmanship. Through both practice and competition, they develop focus, resilience, and a strong sense of commitment to their team and school community.

SLHS currently offers Cross Country and Archery, providing opportunities for students to challenge themselves, develop their skills, and compete while representing the school. As our student body continues to grow, we are excited to expand our athletic offerings with additional programs—including volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, golf, and tennis.

Student input will continue to drive the athletic programs we launch. Cross country and archery began in ‘25-’26, with plans to add volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, golf, and tennis as the student body continues to grow.

The MSHSAA logo features a blue outline of Missouri within a red and white circle. The NASP logo features a red and orange oval with the acronym 'NASP' and an arrow.
