Students enjoyed traveling to Incredible Pizza for the annual safety inspection of the mechanical amusement rides. Mr. Gary Kukal, a Missouri State safety inspector, gave a lesson in amusement park ride safety, covering most of the items he checks for on his inspections around the state. Lessons also included a discussion about statutes and regulations.

The pictures show that the afternoon wasn't all work; it involved some fun as well. The inspections do require the inspector to observe the rides while in operation–really!
